“Okay, I’ll give you a kiss with each m&m you catch with your mouth. If you don’t…“ They sat on the wooden swing in Sooyoung’s backyard, munching on chips and chocolates like kids.

“If I don’t?” Changmin questioned the girl’s dare.

“Wait, I’m thinking…”

“I’ll take you out to dinner?”

“Hmm… Fair enough.” She shrugged despite the fluttering of butterflies in her stomach, she’s too composed to hide.

“Wait, where do I get to be kissed?”

“Good question.” She looked at the candy coated chocolates of different colors, “Catch a blue one I’ll kiss you on the cheek. A green one I’ll kiss you on the forehead. Orange, on the nose. Yellow, on the eyes. Brown and red are mine to eat.”

“No kiss on the lips?” He asked softly, his childish charms put to use and maybe working on his girlfriend.

“Fine. The brown ones, okay?”

“Game.” He smiled and beamed at her.

Sooyoung randomly picked pieces of m&m’s and threw them one by one for Changmin to catch. The first one was green and Changmin caught it, a kiss on the forehead. Then next was a red one that Sooyoung ate.

“Why can’t I have red ones?”

“Because its my favorite color.” She picked another and showed it to Changmin. It’s a blue one. “Ready?” Her boyfriend nodded with a smile.

He caught it again.

It was after a good ten or twelve m&m’s that Changmin missed. “Why do I get the feeling you did that on purpose? You asked for the kiss on the lips but you didn’t catch it.”

“Coz I want to take you out on a real date.” He answered simply, as if it wasn’t anything romantic at all. “Soo. Eat all the brown ones if you want to, I got a date with you tonight, alright?”

She smiled and picked up another m&m, this time it’s orange. He caught it, but instead of kissing him on the nose, she pecked him lightly on the lips.

“You’re breaking your own rules, Soo.” He smiled, quite challengingly. They weren’t even talking about the game anymore.

“Yeah, I do that a lot.” She looked him in the eyes, “I know you won’t stop me.”

“Of course, I won’t. I’m the one stopping myself.”

“Min.” She noticed how he silently turns serious and cute at the same time. She can feel from him this protectiveness and respect that nobody else can pull from him except her. But she wasn’t always confident about that. “You know, I’m new to this. I’m still learning.”

“Yeah, I know. Don’t worry about that.” Changmin pulled her closer by the arm and let her lean on his chest, “We’ll take it one day at a time.” He smiled as he breathed out calmly. Sooyoung reached up and gave him another soft kiss.

She admits to herself that she’s becoming addicted to his lips.

His smile doesn’t get off his handsome face. He smells her hair and kisses the top of her head.

“So what do you want to eat later?”

“Let’s have some Italian! Aren’t they your favorite?” She responded enthusiastically.

Changmin doesn’t know how Sooyoung ever does it. How she makes him feel he’s the best part of her life, how they’re both never unhappy nor even a little bit disappointed, how they compromise like it’s the easiest thing to do. He knows how much Sooyoung trusts him and that to break it would be pure insanity.

When you get the girl nobody dares to touch, you know you’re in for a lifetime of a reality that’s better than a dream.

A/N: LOL it suddenly popped in my head while taking a bath. It's really simple and (maybe) sweet too. Not literally, though. And I found it hard to decide between Sooyoung and Jessica at first.
